The 97th Academy Awards transformed the red carpet into a high-fashion show. Elle Fanning in Givenchy and Selena Gomez in Ralph Lauren exemplified old Hollywood glamour, but Kylie Jenner’s Miu Miu bodycon suggested a new Hollywood style. Statement jewellery, such as Michelle Yeoh’s Boucheron ear cuffs and Lisa’s Bulgari ring, completed the look. Once again, the Oscars demonstrated that it is as much about fashion as it is about movies.
